We are very proud to announce that ZTI has been awarded a fantastic subsid=
y! With this=2C we can accelerate the developments we are making in the fi=
eld of AI=2C Vision=2C and Robotics. We are grateful for the trust placed=
 in our company and our vision for automating processes in the fruit and v=
egetable processing industry and beyond!

** ZTI receives over 1.2 million euros JTF subsidy
------------------------------------------------------------

The Just Transition Fund (JTF) is an EU subsidy program for innovations th=
at contribute to the energy transition and to a sustainable living and wor=
king environment. ZTI is looking for safe and efficient solutions for indu=
strial processes with a lot of repetitive manual labor. This project autom=
ates the processing of fruits and vegetables=2C thereby reducing agricultu=
ral waste=2C among other things.

** Robotics
------------------------------------------------------------

The engineers at ZTI design machines with the latest software systems that=
 make processing fruits and vegetables safer=2C faster=2C more hygienic=2C=
 and easier to maintain. The higher production achieved through the fully=
 automatic orientation=2C detection=2C counting=2C weighing=2C and process=
ing of fragile agricultural products also makes the fruit and vegetable pr=
ocessing industries more future-proof. Automation and AI reduce production=
 losses. ZTI=2C formerly Zuurbier Technology Innovation=2C has its own wor=
kshop where the innovative machines can be tested=2C evaluated=2C and demo=
nstrated.

** Technological Phases of Innovations
------------------------------------------------------------

For over 30 years=2C ZTI has been developing and assembling machines. In t=
he last 9 years=2C the focus has been on peeling=2C cutting=2C and coring=
 fruits and vegetables with mechanical solutions. In parallel=2C ZTI is wo=
rking on its own algorithm=2C robot=2C vision=2C and AI to take these mach=
ines to a higher level=2C gain a technological competitive edge=2C and max=
imize the use of natural products.

JTF Aad Schoorl: =E2=80=9CIt is interesting to know that technological inn=
ovations have to go through various internationally established innovation=
 phases: inventing=2C developing=2C demonstrating=2C and selling/installin=
g. The goal of ZTI's JTF project is to bring a compact cutting machine to=
 the market and develop 3 new machine variations (for other fruit/vegetabl=
e types=2C such as mango). It is great that a project pays attention to br=
inging their innovation to market. This is also a wonderful project for th=
e horticultural area around Heemskerk.=E2=80=9D

JTF stands for Just Transition Fund and is an EU subsidy with support from=
